Double Deep Pallet Rack

Double-deep racks are also called double-deep racks. Double-deep racks are a type of heavy-duty racks. With scissor-type retractable front forks, two vertical pallets can be operated in one aisle. The unit structure of double-depth racks is that two sets of beam-type racks are placed side by side, so as to make full use of storage space and improve space utilization.

      In the design of double-depth racks, the racks placed in the middle can be arranged side by side with four pallet positions, and the two pallet positions on each side from the two sides of the channel to each side are stored or taken out by a scissors forklift. The biggest difference between a scissor forklift and an ordinary forklift is the structure of the front fork. Scissor forklifts use the scissor structure of the front forks, and the front forks can be telescopic. When the forklift body is not moving, the front forks can go over the nearest pallet position and work on the inner pallets more deeply.

Features of double depth racks:

      1. The structure of the double-depth rack is the same as that of the heavy-duty rack. In the design, one aisle can work on two longitudinal pallets on the same side.

      2. Double depth racks must work with scissors forklifts.

      3. The space utilization rate of double-deep shelves is much higher than that of heavy-duty shelves.
